Chapter: Book 1: Out of Paradise
Characters: Eurystheus, Hercules
Location: Kevala Java
This is something I always planned to touch on eventually. There’s been some discussion about his character in the comments lately, and I felt this was a pretty natural time to hint at there being a little more going on with him than meets the eye. Doesn’t make for anything resembling comedy, but it’s okay to get a little serious sometimes, right? (…right!?)
Oh and hey: I’ve signed up with Tumblr, where I’ll be linking all further comic updates as well. Just another way to follow/share the comic if you’re interested!
You may notice some little buttons at the bottom left of the page (under the tags). I’ve signed up with a few comic listing sites, so if you have a minute, please give me a quick vote/rating. Thanks! 😀
And now we start to get to the bottom of the real Hercules…always love backstory especially if it ties into the main characters somehow!
…wait i thought Heracles WAS pretty smart for a warrior all the 12 labors he had to be clever to do them
I know I wouldn’t have thought to re direct a river to clean out a giant horse stable
didn’t he kill his wife and children because Herra made him crazy since she hates him for being her husbands bastard child, and her husband asked her to breast feed him so he could be inmortal? i can see why he might hate himself and perhaps want others to hate him as well after that.
